Coach Thomas McLean is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Level 1 Sport Performance Coach through USA Weightlifting. He holds a Master of Science in Sport and Coaching Education from West Virginia University (WVU), where he also received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Coaching Education. He is currently working toward a graduate certificate in Tactical Performance and Resiliency from The Citadel.
Currently, Thomas is a Military Police Officer and First Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Platoon Commander in Quantico, VA. Prior to the Marine Corps, Thomas was a Military Police Soldier in the West Virginia Army National Guard, where he served as a Team Leader (Sergeant).
Thomas’s coaching background includes 10 years of sport coaching, strength & conditioning, and personal training experience. Positions he has held include head strength & conditioning coach at University High School in Morgantown, WV, strength & conditioning coach for the WVU boxing, rugby and woman’s lacrosse teams, and hurdles & throwers coach at Morgantown High School in Morgantown, WV.
Thomas is passionate about bringing the best out in those that he works with and is excited to combine the tactical and strength & conditioning worlds, in order to help a population that truly deserves the best in education and coaching.

Strength & Conditioning Facilitator focused on LEO Swat and SRT teams. These are unique assignments that require unique training.
Boot Camp /OCS Prep
Preparation for Boot Camp/Basic Training, with a specific focus on prepping for Marine Officer Candidate School.
Search & Rescue Tech
Strength and Conditioning for the highly physical Search & Rescue Technicians in emergency services and Armed Forces.
